What kind of training do we offer?

Training for Middle or High School athletes who possess a specific goal and are willing to do the work to achieve it. It is designed for individuals who want to  become competitive school or age group runners. The only prerequisite is a strong work ethic and the perseverance to reach their objective.

How it works

We will work with no more than 10 individuals at any given time. As openings become available, we will accept new participants. An initial assessment will determine if trainers and athlete are appropriate to work together to achieve the individual’s goals. If both the Athlete and Trainer are satisfied with the results of this assessment then a specific program will be designed and initiated based upon what will safely and efficiently achieve the stated goals of the athlete. There will be 1 individual training session of 1 hour each week, email contacts, and 2 group trainings of 2 hours each month. A weekly schedule for personal training and sports nutrition will be provided and monitored by trainers.

Who we are

We are Mark and Casie Millsap, a husband and wife team who are athletes and trainers and want to train with motivated individuals ready to work to achieve a goal that is important to them.

Qualifications

Mark Millsap

I have been the running coordinator for a large hospital based fitness center for the past 15 years. I continue to develop and facilitate running and strength training classes there. This includes track and field, cross country, trail running, and road running distances from beginner 5k to ultra distances.

Casie Millsap

I have been a competitive age group runner for several years in a variety of distance both road and trail. Utilizing strength conditioning to enhance my overall fitness and running performance, my goal is to share both of these disciplines with other athletes.

In addition to my training, I have a degree in Social Work and have been working in healthcare for the past 20 years. Over the last 10 years, I have enjoyed helping others by promoting good nutrition and exercise for a healthy lifestyle.
